The Meals on Wheels of Boulder nonprofit group is holding a photo contest called Plate it Forward through Aug. 24 to encourage people to donate meals to others in need.
A professional chef prepares every donated meal. Plate it Forward encourages community members to donate any number of meals at $10 per plate.
The summer photo contest gives residents a chance to make social media posts of the number of plates they donate by using the hashtag #plateitforwardboulder.
