Jefferson Academy’s Gianna Gagliano and Mead’s Katy Adler — the Daily Camera and Longmont Times-Call girls’ soccer players of the year — led 31 locals on the Colorado High School Activities Association’s all-state team.

Senior forward Gagliano led the Jaguars to the Class 3A title game with 36 goals and 10 assists. She was accompanied on 3A’s first team by JA junior F Elsa Nygren (15 goals, 14 assists) and senior defender Emma Parker (three, 14).

Elsewhere for the Jags, junior midfielder Ella Pajor (10 goals, 19 assists) made the second team, while senior MF Sarah Welsch (nine, 15) was an honorable mention.

Meanwhile, junior F Adler, with 20 goals and eight assists, was the lone Mead player to make the first team after leading the Mavericks to the 4A second round. Junior and senior middies Reese Ormsby (eight goals, two assists) and Averi Williams (11, 10) were honorable mentions.

Broomfield had two players on 5A’s first team after reaching the second round. Senior D Kayla Loughrey is going to Grambling State and senior F Marley Winston had 17 goals, six assists. Addy Colangelo, the Eagles’ junior goalkeeper, was an honorable mention thanks to 10 shutout appearances in net.

The only other first teamers were Prospect Ridge Academy junior D Kayah Robbins (12 goals, five assists) in 3A and Dawson senior MF and Harvard-commit Lauren Muniz (26, 17) in 2A.

Rounding out the classifications’ second teams, Dawson junior F Kanoe Bihag (34 goals, 17 assists) crossed the 100-goal career milestone in 2A. PRA freshman MF Sarah Sellers, senior GK Ava Stockard and Longmont junior D Jenna Errington made it in 3A.

Legacy and Skyline each had three honorable mentions. Senior D Kate Walker, junior D Lania Dayhuff and junior MF Addison Mercer made it for the Lightning in 5A. Senior F Charlotte Manes (15 goals, seven assists), junior D Moriah Nates and sophomore D Marisol Sanchez made it for the Falcons, who reached the second round in 4A.

Boulder had two 5A HMs in junior and senior middies Mia DeJohn and Charlee Sheinbaum. Niwot had two in 4A, with senior D Margaux Boyer and senior MF Paige Russell making it.

Others honorable mentions included Monarch senior F Cami Ayandele (25 goals, 15 assists) in 5A, Erie senior GK and Arizona-commit Kayla Kirchoffner (57 saves) in 4A, and Longmont senior MF Samantha Whitted and PRA junior MF Sierra Bennett (17, eight) in 3A.
