The Record Company at Street Faire: 5:30 p.m. Friday, Steinbaugh Pavilion, 824 Front St., Louisville. The Street Faire brings in food, drinks, children’s activities and arts, crafts and sundries. This week, hear tunes from Grammy-nominated blues and rock band, The Record Company, a trio that has toured around the world, playing alongside legendary acts like John Mayer, Bob Seger and My Morning Jacket. Where Would We BEE Without Pollinators?: 6 p.m. Friday, Heil Valley Ranch, 81 Geer Canyon Drive, Boulder. Explore the central role that pollinating insects and their habitats play in functioning ecosystems at this event that takes a hike along the creek. Improvarama! Boulder Improv show: 8 p.m. Friday, The Louisville Underground, 640 Main St., Louisville. This new live improv show brings in the area’s best talent in a show that is like “Who’s Line is It Anyway”-meets-“Saturday Night Live.” Suggestions will drive the show as these performers make up the funny right on the spot. On the Rise music festival on The Hill: 4 p.m. Saturday, The Hill, 1235 Pennsylvania Ave., Boulder. A new outdoor concert series, created by Roots Music Project, was launched to celebrate the past, present and future of the Boulder music scene. This weekend’s show will feature Emelise, School of Rock, Mr. Knobs and Wrenn Van in a free concert on University Hill. Free, rootsmusicproject.org.

Pride in the Parks — Birding hike: 8 a.m. Saturday, Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat, 3893 N. 75th St., Boulder. This hike is for anyone who likes looking at birds or being outdoors. Saturday will welcome those who identify as LGBTQ+, allies, families — or anyone who wants to enjoy an inclusive outdoor experience. This will be a slow hike covering 1.5-miles or less. Arts in the Open presents Alice in Wonderland: 10 a.m. Saturday, Chautauqua Park, 900 Baseline Road, Boulder. A madcap adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic where Alice chases a White Rabbit down a hole to a world where she encounters strange creatures and even stranger poetry. During an Arts in the Open production, guests will be hiking along a moderate trail and pace. Hikes last no more than 2 hours. Meet and Bleat — Goats at the Library: 11 a.m. Saturday, Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder. Interact with Growing Gardens’  newest members of the herd. Learn a bit about regenerative agriculture, humane animal husbandry and the daily adventures of dairy goat kids. Niwot Jazz Festival: 3-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Cottonwood Square, 7960 Niwot Road, Niwot. This free concert festival will have food and drinks at local venues. The lineup will feature Brazilian choro with the Dexter Payne Quintet, hard bop and funky jazz with West Coast saxophonist Brian Levy in a quintet tribute to Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, Boston-based vocal virtuoso Dominique Eade with the Keith Waters Trio and a Salsa dance party with Quemando Free, 720-412-1948, niwotjazz.org.

Erie celebrates Juneteenth: 5:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Coal Creek Park, 575 Kattell St., Erie. The event will include family-friendly activities, food trucks, music and other entertainment.
