Community members are invited to attend an upcoming Climate Initiatives office hours in room N101 at Boulder’s Municipal Building from 3-5 p.m. on June 7. The office hours are in person and registration is required.

The event is centered around energy and the city’s ongoing climate work. In this session, attendees will have an opportunity to chat directly with city staff about topics like energy costs, electrification and emissions reduction, as well as ask questions and voice ideas.

“We are excited to come together and engage in meaningful conversations about our climate future,” said Jonathan Koehn, the Director of Climate Initiatives, in a release. “Office hours are one way to actively involve the community in our work, and to ensure all voices are heard. By participating in these discussions, community members contribute to our ongoing efforts to address climate change and create a more sustainable future.”

Energy systems are a key pillar of the city’s climate work and include a variety of programs, projects and requirements that build toward a more climate-resilient future.
