Cork University Business School brings together the expertise of five business departments coordinated through the Business School Office.
The Department of Food Business and Development is multi-disciplinary and highly integrated, with a strong postgraduate research focus. The Department’s teaching and research is focused on food business and the consumer, co-operative business, rural development, international development and food security. It is supported in this endeavour by two centres:
Undergraduate degrees include BSc (Hons) Food Marketing and Entrepreneurship and BSc (Hons) International Development as well as contributions to the BComm suite of programmes.
The Department also offers a range of postgraduate courses, both taught and research based programmes that can lead to Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters and Doctoral Degrees. These include taught programmes such as:
In addition to conventional university teaching, the Department offers innovative blended learning programmes, facilitated by e-learning technologies and distance learning, such as the MSc Co-operative and Social Enterprise.
A range of Executive Development programmes is also available in the area of Supply Chain Management.
