The NETGEAR Powerline 2000 + Extra Outlet lets you extend your internet connection to any room without running long wires. Just plug one module into an AC outlet and connect it to your router with one of the included Ethernet cables. Then plug the second module into any other electrical outlet in your home. Now you can make a wired Ethernet connection to smart TVs, computers, gaming consoles or similar devices.
Pass-through AC outlets
Each module in the Powerline 2000 + Extra Outlet kit features a readily accessible pass-through AC outlet. That means you won't "eat up" an important power outlet on either the transmitting or receiving end when using this kit to extend your network.
