Eleanor McCrary is a native of St. Louis, Missouri but fell in love with Louisville as an intern at The Courier Journal. After finishing her master's degree in investigative and data journalism at the University of Missouri, she rejoined the newspaper as the Metro Government reporter. McCrary has also worked at USA TODAY, Investigative Reporters and Editors and the Columbia Missourian.
