Steven Vincent Bonaiuto OBITUARY

Steven Vincent Bonaiuto passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2024. He was born May 8, 1962, in Hartford, CT, to Vincent and Joyce Bonaiuto. After 3 daughters, they welcomed Steven, the son they had always hoped for. In life, as at birth, that is exactly what he became.

Growing up in East Hartford, Steve was always happiest when he was outdoors. Some of his favorite times were the summers he and the family spent with cousins on the farm in Missouri. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending several years in professional competitions as a Bass Pro angler. When he wasn’t hard at work, you could find him out on a lake in his boat. He always looked forward to his hunting trips to Missouri with family.

He was previously employed by the Town of Manchester, CT Department of Public Works, and started his own contracting business after relocating to Florida. He worked with Fred Sutton Properties for years and will be missed by his many friends and colleagues.

Steve took great pleasure in helping others in any way he could. He was always the first one to lend a hand to a neighbor and to show up anywhere he was needed. All who were lucky enough to know Steve knew him as a generous and faithful man. More than anything, Steve loved his family and lived for his Lord Jesus. His faith was strong and unwavering.

Steven has been reunited with his mom, dad and brother Billy in Heaven. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his three sisters: Pamela Marcacci of Palm Bay, FL, Patricia Chouinard of South Windsor, CT, Janice Lehmann (Wayne) of Wellington, FL. He will also be greatly missed by many beloved nieces and nephews, several cherished aunts and cousins with whom he always remained close. He is also survived by his brother Michael Bonaiuto.

Steve’s family plans a celebration of his life at a future date. In remembrance of Steve and to keep his light shining, please reach out to help someone in need and spend precious time with those you love. Love never fails.
