Richard James Shakespeare OBITUARY

Richard James Shakespeare, 52, of Burlington, died Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Cherry Brook Health Care Center in Canton. He was born September 5, 1971 in Hartford, son of the late Alfred William and Georgiana (LaFountain) Shakespeare and had lived in Burlington for many years. He was a Welder-Radiator Delivery Driver for Valley Radiator Services for several years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and was a huge fan of Star Wars and coffee.

Rich is survived by his siblings, Joann Warner and husband Steve of New Hartford, Alfred Shakespeare and wife Mary of Burlington; his niece Kim of Burlington; his special friend, Jen Wright and stepdaughter Saletha Plumbly and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by two sisters, Ivy Chase and Patrica Yalanis.
