Detlef W Papp OBITUARY

17 Nov 1942, Berlin, Germany – 19 June 2024 Hartford. Arrived in Hartford after WW II. Graduated from Bulkeley HS, served and upon discharge, remained in Berlin, Germany as a civilian army employee until the fall of the Berlin wall. Returning to Hartford he worked at the USPS and enjoyed fly fishing on retirement. He is loved and survived by his brother Georg, Sr. and children as well as predeceased brother Peter’s sons. This good natured, precise, and properly dapper German gentleman will be missed by all who knew him.
