Consuelo L. Agreda OBITUARY

Consuelo L. Agreda, 94, of West Hartford, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She came to the United States in 1970 and found the love of her life Pedro J. Agreda. Born in Cabana, Peru, on September 26, 1929, she was the daughter of Severo Reyes and Virgina Pantoja. Consuelo was a gifted seamstress and found enjoyment in baking her famous flan, traveling, visiting casinos, going shopping, trying new restaurants and having a Pina Colada. Above all things, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was dedicated to the care of her family, always putting their needs before hers. She was at her glory when her family was together, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she loved and adored. Her unconditional love and values will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Consuelo is survived by her husband of 52 years, Pedro J. Agreda; her son, Charlie Agreda (Cristina); her daughters, Tarci Agreda, Victoria Salas (Carlos), Carmen Duprey (Dennis), Maria Goyzueta (predeceased Augusto); her cherished grandchildren, Carlos, Lucie, David, Sarah, Charles, Annmarie, EJ, Abigail, Elizabeth, and Archie; and her nine adored great-grandchildren, Audrey, Emma, Carson, Chase, Hailey, Ryder, Blake, Landon, and Liam. She leaves many other family members cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss her.

Consuelo was a devoted follower of the Señor de Los Milagros, St. Anthony of Padua/San Antonio de Padua, and Apostle of Santiago/Apostol Santiago. There she made many lasting friends.

Calling hours will be Monday, (June 24), from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. A funeral procession from the funeral home will be Tuesday, (June 25) at 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Avenue, Hartford.
