UPDATED:

UConn junior forward Chase Bradley has signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche, the program announced Wednesday.

Bradley racked up 11 goals and 11 assists this past season for the Huskies, who finished eighth in Hockey East. The St. Louis native finishes his UConn career with 25 goals and 26 assists in 95 games played.

Bradley was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft, but chose to play in college at UConn.
He’ll look to become the eighth UConn men’s hockey player to reach the NHL and sixth under current head coach Mike Cavanaugh.

Incoming Quinnipiac player chosen by Bruins

Elliott Groenewold, a defenseman who will be a freshman at Quinnipiac next season, was chosen in the fourth round of the NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins last Friday. The Springfield, Vt. native was named to the USHL All-Rookie Second Team last season after picking up 16 points in 57 games with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. He joins incoming freshman forward Chris Pelosi as NHL draft picks who will suit up for the Bobcats next season. Pelosi was chosen by the Bruins in the third round of the 2023 draft.
