Former UConn field hockey player Sophie Hamilton has been named to the Great Britain women’s field hockey team for the Paris Olympics, the school announced Monday.

Hamilton, 23, had a decorated career with the Huskies from 2019-21. She was a First Team All-American, won Big East Offensive Player of the Year, and Big East Tournament Most Outstanding Player honors.

She also won all-conference first team and all-tournament honors during her career, totaling 28 goals and 29 assists. Hamilton helped the Huskies win Big East titles in 2019 and 2020-21.
