A 30-year-old man found with gunshot wounds in a New Haven street over the weekend remains in critical condition, police said Monday.
Officers responded to Elm and Howe streets about 2:40 a.m. Saturday after dispatchers received multiple 911 calls and a ShotSpotter gunshot detection system alert, police said. They found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso and arm.
The man, who is a New Haven resident, was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital to be treated for the injuries that police said were life-threatening.
Investigators ask that anyone with information about the shooting call the detective bureau at 203-946-6304.
