The temperature in March, the first month of meteorological spring, averaged 36.7 degrees or 1.1 degrees below normal at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks. The high temperature was one degree below normal and the low temperature was 1.3 degrees below normal. There was 10.3 inches of snow which is 3.9 inches above normal, yet total precipitation was 3.07 inches or 0.55 inches below normal. High pressure off the New England coast will bring sunshine Tuesday morning then some clouds will arrive in the afternoon. High temperatures will be cool, in the mid to upper 40s.
