The ROI of Sustainability: Session Two

May 09, 2024 10:00 AM ET - 12:00 PM ET | Hybrid Meeting

A major challenge facing companies today is determining and conveying the return on investment (ROI) of their sustainability initiatives. It's not just investor pressure that is driving companies to focus on sustainability; it has become a business imperative.

To address this critical issue, The Conference Board Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Center is hosting a series of Roundtable discussions on The ROI of Sustainability. Our first session, held on March 29, laid the groundwork by exploring the current state of measuring sustainability ROI, identifying key calculation elements, and examining prevalent challenges.

Join us for Session 2: Calculating the ROI of Sustainability

Building upon the insights from our inaugural session, our upcoming Roundtable will delve deeper into the intricacies of measuring sustainability ROI. We will focus on:

  • Determining Return: Exploring steps and methods for assessing the direct returns of sustainability initiatives, alongside the identification of intangible benefits and more strategic, systemic impacts.
  • Calculating Investments: Discussing the processes and methodologies for quantifying investments in sustainability, including financial allocations and resource allocations.

To Attend

The session will occur both virtually and in-person at The Conference Board (845 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10022).

To register for in-person attendance, and to learn more about speaking opportunities, please e-mail Lindsay Beltzer, Senior Program Producer, at lbeltzer@tcb.org. To register for virtual participation, please log into our website at the top of this page.
