More than just spending a few nights in this two-bedroom, ivy-covered apartment in Saint-Paul-de-Vence (less than 30 minutes inland from Nice), we want to live here. Just page through the photos of the stunningly decorated 12th century apartment and we're sure you'll feel the same way. There's the huge open fireplace in the living room, mint green tiles in the kitchen, glamorous peach master bath, delicate antique armoires spread throughout, and a view over the surrounding hills – with glimpses of the Mediterranean – that has our collective jaw on the floor. This delightful St. Tropez loft has a clay-coloured rooftop out of a dream, made complete by sailboat-filled bay views all around. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, there's plenty of space to spread out in this airy mansion decorated with natural wood accents and antiques. But it's the outside amenities at this Airbnb plus that really make us want to book. The modern concrete dining table, outdoor living room, grill, and cliffside pool overlooking hills of olive trees are calling. The pool is shared with one other nearby rental. While we can't imagine leaving the home, Nice and Cannes are both around 20 minutes away by car, and you're at an entrance to the Préalpes d'Azur park, filled with hiking trails and teeny villages.

This home, about a five minute walk from the Pamplonne beach and a short drive from St. Tropez, has one main quirk: there's a pine tree growing through the middle of it. Its trunk encased in glass, the tree offers a focal point in the three-bedroom home's living room and provides plenty of character. Both the least expensive and the smallest space on this list, this Airbnb plus located just a block from the port packs a lot in. The bright, airy studio is well worth the five flights of stairs to reach it on the top floor – especially when you see the terrace overlooking Marseille that's begging to be enjoyed morning, afternoon, aperitivo hour, and night.
