The results of the 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards are in and have been counted. These are our biggest travel awards ever, since we first held them in 1998, and our first in collaboration with our sister title in the USA. We had more than 600,000 registered voters, who chose thousands of favourite, tried-and-tested hotels, destinations and travel fixers – from cruise lines to tour operators – around the world. All our 2019 list are winners, but as a taster, here are the number ones in each category.
