Sebastian was on staff at Condé Nast Traveler for around three years, first as an editor and then a staff writer on the digital team. Prior to that, Sebastian worked at MTV and MIT, among other places, and spent a year documenting local hip-hop as a Fulbright Fellow in Botswana. He has also lived in Hong Kong, Australia, India, and Indonesia.
