Jennifer Lopez Gushes Family Time With Fiance Alex Rodriguez and Their Blended Brood Is ‘Sacred’
If one things for sure, Jennifer Lopez wouldn’t be the woman she is without her beloved family. The iconic singer opened up about juggling her hectic Hollywood schedule and revealed why it’s so important for her to have time off with fiancé Alex Rodriguez and their brood of four kids.
“When you’re part of a busy family, when even the kids have heir own schedules, that family time, that dinnertime, is such a sacred time,” Jen, 50, wrote via Instagram Stories on Sunday, February 9, as she shared a series of photos of her 11-year-old twins, Emmy and Max, and Alex’s daughters, Natasha, 15, and Ella, 11.
“That time that we get to spend with the kids and sit down and have a good meal quickly is key,” the Hustlers star — who shares her adorable kiddos with ex-husband Marc Anthony — sweetly continued, adding they like to eat “good, nutritious meals” designed from their line of affordable meals in partnership with Tiller & Hatch Supply Co., which they launched in October 2019.
“We believe that it’s everybody’s right to have access to delicious quality meals,” Jen added as Alex, 44, chimed in, noting how each meal is not only affordable, but also “always a better option than fast food.”
It’s no surprise time with her family means everything to Jen, especially when she’s traveling the world while trying to excel at her motherhood duties. Luckily, the Second Act star is fortunate enough to be able to mix business with pleasure.
Earlier this month, Jen took the stage for the Halftime Show during the 2020 Super Bowl on February 2. Although the Grammy Award winner blew fans away with her impressive performance, it was Emmy who stole the show as she joined her mom on stage in the middle of the routine.
Following the iconic display, the Maid in Manhattan star opened up about what is was like to be beside her little girl as she performed some of her mom’s biggest hits in front of millions of people.
“You know what, no,” she said to host Jimmy Fallon after he asked if Emmy was nervous during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show. “She has the performance gene where she doesn’t let it in her mind, how big it is or how it scares you. That’s what you have to do when you’re up there, you kind of have to control [yourself].”
