Dean McDermott Defends Wife Tori Spelling After She Shares Sexy Bikini Pic With Her ‘BH90210′ Costars
It looks like Dean McDermott isn’t letting the internet trolls get away with cyber-bullying his wife. The Chopped Canada host came to Tori Spelling‘s defense after she shared a sexy bikini snapshot with her Beverly Hills, 90210 costars Jennie Garth and Gabrielle Carteris.
Dean, 52, stepped into the social media frenzy on Sunday, June 2, and clapped back at one user after they commented that the women were “trying too hard” to be relevant. “I love how you haters have private [accounts]!” the Slasher actor said in defense of his wife. “Let’s see what you trolls look like [you] cowards!”
The harsh words came after Tori, 46, shared a pic of her and her swimsuit-clad costars posing in front of the Vancouver skyline. The Beverly Hills, 90210 cast is currently in Canada filming for the iconic series’ highly anticipated reboot — which premieres August 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Fox.
“Sunday Family Dinner … @jenniegarth @gabriellecarteris @bh90210 #nomakeup,” she captioned the sexy snapshot that she shared on Instagram of her, Jennie and Gabrielle.
Although the pic garnered some unwanted criticism, most messages in the comment section of the So Notorious star’s post were sweet and uplifting. “@jenniegarth has had three babies, @gabriellecarteris has had two babies and @torispelling has had five babies … and they have the confidence to post bathing suit pics with elegance and style!” one fan gushed. “Look at these beautiful, amazing, talented women!” wrote another.
This isn’t the first time that Dean has been outspoken about social media trolls bullying his wife. In late March, the proud dad came to the rescue of his wife after she was bashed for promoting Little Bites muffins as a healthy snack option for her five children.
“I am sick and tired of everybody taking a shot at my wife Tori Spelling,” the Open Range actor said in defense of her, venting in a video he shared to Instagram. “Just because she’s a celebrity, they think they can say and do whatever they want. She’s a great mom. We’re great parents. Our kids eat healthy. They eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and occasionally they have a snack. So can we get over ourselves?”
