Emilio Estevez

Emilio played jock Andrew Clark in The Breakfast Club and optimist Kirby in St. Elmo’s fire. His movie career continued to soar with 1988’s Young Guns and its sequel two years later. Emilio became beloved by Disney fans, starring as coach Gordon Bombay in 1992’s The Mighty Ducks, which spawned two sequels.

By the mid aughts, the actor turned his attention to directing. He helmed the 2006 film Bobby, 2010’s The Way and 2018’s The Public, starring in all three movies.

Rob Lowe

After playing party boy Billy Hicks in St. Elmo’s Fire, Rob costarred alongside fellow Brat Pack member Demi Moore in 1986’s romantic dramedy About Last Night. He continued to work steadily in movies over the years before landing the role of Sam Seaborn on NBC’s Emmy-winning political drama The West Wing from 1999 through 2006.

After wrapping up his part on that show, Rob became a founding member of the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters starting in 2006. He went on to have prominent roles on NBC’s comedy Parks and Recreation, Showtime’s Californication, CBS’s Code Black and has starred on Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star since 2020.

Demi Moore

Demi already had a steady acting gig, playing Jackie Templeton on the ABC soap opera General Hospital, for two years before taking the role of Jules in St. Elmo’s Fire. She became a bonafide movie leading lady with 1990’s smash Ghost. Demi followed that up with lead roles in the classic films A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal and Disclosure. By 1996, Demi became Hollywood’s highest paid actress, taking home $12.5 million for Striptease.

Following 1997’s G.I. Jane, Demi and then-husband Bruce Willis bought property in Hailey, Idaho, and she took a break from Hollywood to raise their three young daughters away from the limelight. She returned to the spotlight in 2003’s Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Demi has worked in film and television over the years since and was most recently seen in F/X’s Feud: Capote vs. The Swans in 2024.

Ally Sheedy

After the back-to-back success of The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo’s Fire, Ally continued to work steadily in film and TV over the years, although she never found the massive success of her 1980s heyday. She starred in 2003’s Shelter Island, the 2014 TV movie Not With My Daughter and had a small role in 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse. Ally most recently starred on the Freeform/Hulu series Single Drunk Female, playing lead character Sam’s mom Carol Fink.

Andrew McCarthy

After playing rich dreamboat Blane in Pretty in Pink and Kevin in St. Elmo’s Fire, Andrew starred in two more memorable 1980s films, Less Than Zero and Weekend at Bernie’s. He worked steadily over the years in both film and TV, with roles in Mulholland Falls, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Gossip Girl, White Collar and 13 Reasons Why.

Andrew was most recently seen by audiences playing Dr. Ian Sullivan on Fox’s The Resident from 2022 through 2023. He turned to directing in the late aughts and has helmed episodes of Hart of Dixie, Gossip Girl, The Carrie Diaries and Grace and Frankie. Andrew was behind the camera calling the shots on 15 episodes of Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black and 26 episodes of NBC’s The Blacklist.

Judd Nelson

Following his bad boy role of John Bender in The Breakfast Club and preppy Alec Newbury in St. Elmo’s Fire, Judd went on to receive a Golden Globe nomination for the 1987 TV miniseries The Billionaire Boys Club. Judd continued to work in film and TV, becoming a series regular on the NBC comedy Suddenly Susan in 1996. He’s been seen on such shows as CSI, Las Vegas, Psych and Empire.

Molly Ringwald

After becoming the teen queen of the 1980s by starring in John Hughes trifecta of Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink, Molly took breaks between working and raising a family over the years. She’s been seen in Jem and the Holograms, the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Raising Expectations, Riverdale and Netflix’s The Kissing Booth trilogy. In 2022, she appeared in Dahmer ��� Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Anthony Michael Hall

After playing the geek role in Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club, Anthony took on more substantial parts in the years that followed, including 1990’s Edward Scissorhands and 1993’s Six Degrees of Separation. Anthony starred on USA’s The Dead Zone as Johnny Smith from 2002 through 2007. His most recent roles included a five-episode stint on Bosch: Legacy in 2023 and the 2024 film Air Force One Down.

Jon Cryer

Following his role as Ducky in Pretty in Pink, Jon starred on the 1989 TV series The Famous Teddy Z and 1995’s Partners. Jon hit the TV jackpot with the role of Alan Harper on CBS’s Two and a Half Men starting in 2003. The smash sitcom ran for 12 seasons. He was most recently seen in the 2023 NBC comedy Extended Family.
