Candace joined WKMG-TV in 2015 and most recently has led the New 6 Pinpoint Accurate Weather Team on News 6 Mornings and on News 6 at Noon.
Promoted to Chief Meteorologist in 2024, Candace will continue to be Central Florida’s Morning Meteorologist.
Born and raised in raised in South Florida, her experience with Hurricane Andrew sparked her desire to become a meteorologist and continues to be the driving force behind her goal to inform, educate and empower her viewers on all aspects of weather. A graduate of Florida International University, she earned her bachelor's degree in meteorology and graduated magna cum laude. Candace has earned her NWA seal and is a member of the American Meteorological Society, and the National Weather Association. In 2023 Candace joined the morning news team that consists of Bridgett Ellison, Crystal Moyer, and Trooper Steve Montiero.

During her down time, she enjoys spending family time with her husband and two daughters. Along with her love of weather, she enjoys the outdoors, photography, scrapbooking and baking homemade goodies.
