Emily Sams kicked off the scoring for the Pride in the ninth minute before Banda added her two goals – one in the first half, and one in the second.

Orlando has stayed unbeaten through their first 10 games to start the season, the longest streak in team history to start a season.

“I think most importantly, the win and a win away from home, as well. It’s something we talked about last year, picking up more points away from home,” Pride coach Seb Hines said. “It’s now seven wins on the run, which is really nice. It’s pleasing to see that everything has started to come together but we have a lot of room to continue to improve.”

The Pride will have the opportunity to claim the league’s win-streak record on Friday night when Orlando returns home to take on the Portland Thorns.
