Pizza Bruno

The Orlando-based pizza joint currently has two locations. Its new one will be located off Horatio Avenue just east of Orlando Avenue, per the city of Maitland’s post on social media. It will be one of the vendors at the city’s commercial center, dubbed Maitland Social.

It is planned to open at the end of this month.

Meanwhile, the two other locations serve different styles of pies — Curry Ford serves Neapolitan and Edgewater serves Jersey-style — with this one following a similar model of the original restaurant: wood-fired. It will also offer snacks such as garlic knots and wings.

Melt Brownie

This will be the brand’s second location, with the other in Winter Springs. Melt Brownie will open its doors July 5 at 110 N. Orlando Ave., according to a social media post by the city of Maitland.

It serves brownies, milkshakes and brownie cakes. The flavors of brownies change weekly with options such as dirt cake, snickerdoodle and caramel turtle cheesecake being offered.

Mandola’s Italian Kitchen

One of the co-founders of Carrabba’s has expanded their footing in the culinary world by creating Mandola’s Italian Kitchen. The Texas-based restaurant brand has nine locations across Texas and Florida. This will be the first outpost in the Orlando market.

Mandola’s Italian Kitchen in Maitland has plans to open some time this summer at 601 Maitland Blvd., according to plans filed to the city.

It will offer menu items such as lasagna, ravioli, pizza, salads and paninis.
