Flood Watch is in effect as remnants of Hurricane Beryl are expected to soak Metro Detroit

Wednesday highs in upper 70s; Thursday highs in lower 80s

4Warn Weather – Rain is already starting to soak the ground this evening, with much more on the way.

A Flood Watch goes into effect tonight at 11 p.m. for most of Southeast Michigan and continues until 8 p.m. Wednesday.

What’s left of Hurricane Beryl will soak Metro Detroit with as much as “1-4″ of rain.

The highest totals will be in the northern parts of Livingston and Oakland counties and areas north of I-69.

With all the rain highs, Wednesday will stay primarily in the low 70s.

Drier air settles in for Thursday, with highs only in the upper 70s. But heat and humidity return for the end of the week and into the weekend.

Parts of the weekend will feel like it’s over 90 degrees. See you tonight at 11 p.m.
