Crackdown led to seizure of methamphetamines and cocaine

Two search warrants have resulted in three arrests and the seizure of methamphetamines and cocaine last week in St. Clair County.

Two search warrants have resulted in three arrests and the seizure of methamphetamines and cocaine last week in St. Clair County.

Patricia Fox, 48, of Port Huron, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a felony punishable by up to 20 years.

William Paret, 38, of Eastpointe, was also arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a felony punishable by up to 20 years, and possession of cocaine, a felony punishable by up to four years.

Officials say over $1,000 worth of methamphetamine was located along with cocaine on July 2, 2024.

On July 3, 2024, the Drug Task Force continued with the arrests of Eric Talton, 29, of Detroit.

Members of the Drug Task Force said they attempted to first arrest Talton at Qdoba, where he fled on foot.

Officials say he was arrested before Texas Road House after a foot pursuit.

During the foot pursuit, officials say the 29-year-old man threw 18.5 grams of cocaine onto the roof of the Red Lobster and 1.8 grams of crack cocaine off the roof of the Texas Road House, which were both recovered.

A search of Talton’s person incident to arrest also led to the seizure of $1,020 in cash.

Talton was taken to St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center, where he was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, tampering with evidence, resisting and obstructing, and maintaining a drug house. He was given a $50,000 bond at arraignment.
