Woman must wear GPS tether if she is released

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Clinton Township woman was charged in connection with allegedly stabbing her boyfriend multiple times.

The stabbing occurred on Wednesday (July 3) when Jennifer Marie Hayes, 29, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend multiple times at his Clinton Township residence.

Officials say the victim is expected to recover.

The 29-year-old woman was charged with assault with intent to murder, a life felony, and aggravated domestic violence, a one-year misdemeanor.

Hayes was charged in 41B Clinton Township District, where bond was set at $250,000 cash/surety only.

If she is released, Hayes must wear a GPS tether.

A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
