Two brothers have teamed up to share their fashion advice in Detroit.
Darryl Humes and Koven Humes are the duo behind Mature, a clothing store located inside the Fisher Building. Koven explained that they show their clients creative ways to style different clothing items.
“We try to help them establish a strategy on how to build a wardrobe between their business and personal lifestyle,” Darryl said. “It’s important for us to help our clients look good. I think everybody wants to look good, but how you get there is really where we come into play.”
Darryl explained that versality is critical. He shared an example of styling a blue blazer and recommends wearing a white tee underneath to create a hybrid look that accomplished both a casual and dressy style all at once.
Just in time for Father’s Day, Mature is offering two shirts they designed that speak to fatherhood and what it means, Darryl said.
