Houston man pleads guilty to murder after hiding missing wife’s body inside freezer in 2020

HOUSTON – A man has plead guilty to murder in the death of his then 29-year-old wife, whose body was found inside a freezer on 2020.

Investigators said 62-year-old Curtis Allen Holliday killed his wife, Chi Thi Lien Le, who had been missing since April 3, 2020.

Curtis Allen Holliday was sentenced Monday morning and will be given 10 years in prison. He will formally be sentenced on July 19.

What happened

Initially, Holliday was booked into the Harris County jail on May 5, 20202 after being charged with violating a bond for a protective order and continuous violence against a family member. There, he was interviewed by investigators in connection to his wife’s disappearance.

A search of Holliday’s place of business in the 5800 block of West Sam Houston Parkway North was conducted on May 28, 2020, and investigators found Le’s remains in a commercial freezer on the property.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled Le’s death a homicide, and investigators filed a murder charge against her husband.
