CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland announced the appointment of veteran curator DJ Hellerman as its new deputy director and senior curator.

It’s a homecoming for Hellerman. A native of Northeast Ohio who grew up in Painesville, Hellerman holds a master’s degree in art history from Case Western Reserve University. He began his career at the Progressive Art Collection in 2005, where he served as a registrar.
