CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Superman has a furry co-star on set today.
The film crew shooting the movie brought a squirrel out in a plastic enclosure this morning, the apparent damsel in distress that required Superman’s saving.
That was one of several scenes being shot on the Fourth of July holiday. Crews filmed a stunt showing Superman flying by the Soldiers and Sailors monument, replete with extras as he landed in the area.
Superman had a small misstep, falling to his knees on the landing.
They’re also working in front of Key Bank tower, the apparent scene of heavy destruction. The scene has crashed cars, and extras are running about for the shot.
You can see some of the action in the photos captured here.
“Superman,” co-starring Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, flies into theaters on July 11, 2025.
