Lexi Boccuzzi

Lexi Boccuzzi is a policy analyst at the Manhattan Institute. Her work focuses on higher education reform, specifically foreign interference at elite universities and efforts to improve intellectual diversity and free speech on college campuses. 

Boccuzzi graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, with a focus in public policy and governance. She completed an honors thesis on the history of various strains of conservative rhetoric and their electoral successes and failures. 

During her undergraduate studies, Boccuzzi interned at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce and for the House Republican Conference. She completed the American Enterprise Institute’s Summer Honors Academy and the Hertog Foundation’s Constitutional Studies Fellowship. Boccuzzi is a former fellow at the Yankee Institute, a former Collegiate Associate at the Manhattan Institute, and was involved in many local and state campaigns in her home state of Connecticut.   

Boccuzzi’s Penn experience culminated in her founding a heterodox paper, The Pennsylvania Post, after years as columnist and editor at The Daily Pennsylvanian. Her work has appeared in Real Clear Politics and National Review. In the fall of 2024, she will begin The Public Interest Fellowship in Washington, D.C.
