Vietnamese president arrives in Laos for state visit

VIENTIANE - President of To Lam, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Lao capital Vientiane on Thursday for a two-day state visit.

 In response to the invitation from Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, the Vietnamese president is paying a visit to Laos to enhance the friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, Lao National Radio reported on Thursday.

During the visit, To Lam will hold meetings and discussions with senior leaders of Laos, including Thongloun Sisoulith, who is also General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, and President of the National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane.
