Chen Qiang, general manager at Saputo Dairy (China) Co Ltd, says the company is focused on bringing top-quality dairy goods to Chinese buyers.
"Saputo China's main product categories in China include Devondale adult milk powder, ambient milk, butter, and cheese products. These products are fully imported and sold in the Chinese market. The main countries from which they are mainly imported are Australia and Argentina," said Chen.

Chen said that plans are underway to expand into new import sources such as New Zealand and the US to further enhance the product portfolio of Saputo in the Chinese market. This move will provide Chinese consumers with more choices for their tables.
Chen says Saputo chose Huangpu for its regional headquarters in China due to its great business environment, advanced infrastructure, and friendly culture.
Saputo China was recognized as the regional headquarters of multinational companies in the greater China region by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce on June 30 last year.
Moreover, by becoming an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certified company last year, Saputo China has made importing products easier by getting quicker customs clearance and lower trade costs.
