Authorities have identified a man found shot to death over the weekend in the Waukegan Metra station parking lot.
The Lake County Coroner’s Office said Tuesday that Xzavier Booker, 36, most recently of Zion, died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Waukegan police were called to the lot at 95 N. Spring St. at around 3:40 a.m. Sunday for a reported shooting. Responding officers found Booker, and paramedics confirmed that he was dead.
The coroner’s office performed an autopsy on Monday.
The case remains under investigation by Waukegan police.
