We're committed to being innovative and generating ideas that support meaningful change. This creates new opportunities and improves programs, practices and processes. One of our priorities is Innovative Action, a commitment to develop or customize curricula, programs or practices to improve access, address workforce and community needs, and advance our fields of study.
The College Strategic Innovation Team (C-SIT) seeks to promote innovation through interdepartmental and transdisciplinary approaches. The team identifies and supports the development and implementation of initiatives aligned with the college's vision, mission, values and priorities.
Do you have an idea that would change the way we support our students? Perhaps a new process, resource or program? Let us know by emailing cedu@niu.edu. We welcome your ideas, whether you just have an inkling or you have all the details figured out.
The C-SIT team will review submissions at regular intervals. We'll notify you when your submission has been assigned to the subcommittee for review, as well as after it's been reviewed by the full committee to share next steps.
