CANONSBURG, Pa. (KDKA) – Three people were injured after a shooting last night in Canonsburg, Washington County.

A doorbell video shared with KDKA by a neighbor showed an audible 14 gunshots as what appears to be a gray sedan drives by Blaine Avenue in the borough.

Some neighbors KDKA spoke with thought they were hearing something else at first – not gunshots.

"There was like -- a lot of explosions that I thought it was the fireworks," one woman who did not want to be identified said. "But upon hearing it constantly, I realized this wasn't fireworks… this was actually gunshot explosions.

Police rushed to Blaine Avenue just before midnight Thursday.

KDKA's overnight photographer captured shell casings on the ground, along with a bullet hole that went through the windshield of an SUV. Police say three people were injured and taken to the hospital, but that those injuries are not life-threatening…

The police chief tells us they believe Thursday's shooting and the other ones are too alike.

"We will certainly be investigating that angle to see if these shootings are tied to the other ones we had the other night," Canonsburg Police Chief Alexander Coghill said.

Lee Bell recently moved to Canonsburg to get closer to where he works. After a week of hearing pops – he's concerned.

"I heard about these shootings a couple streets over," Bell said. "It kind of doesn't want to make me live here anymore."

There's been no word from Canonsburg Police on a potential suspect or motive.
