Homestead car crash leaves 1 dead, 7 injured

Crash in Homestead sends 8 to the hospital

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — One person was killed and seven people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Homestead on July 3.

The crash happened around 8 p.m. near the area of East Eight Avenue and Ann Street in Homestead, officials said.

The eight people injured were taken to local hospitals for treatment after the crash. Three of those people were rescued after being trapped in the wreckage. One of the eight people taken to the hospital died on July 6. The victim was identified as Lynn Reynolds, of Duquesne.

The conditions of the seven people injured are not known at this time. No other information was released.
