Miss Texas 2023 talks competing in pageants

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - For some people, pageants mean glam and glitter but for Ellie Breaux, it has always been more than that.
Breaux was Miss Texas 2023 and competed as a way to pay for her Education at the University of North Texas.
She ended up graduating in May 2023 and ended up with over $40,000 in scholarships after competing.
CBS7′s Celeste Gessner sat down with Breaux to hear about her time as Miss Texas 2023 and why she encourages young women to consider competing in pageants.
