Mental health app for first responders

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The Midland City Council introduced a mental health app for first responders. it gives officers, fire fighters and emergency dispatchers an outlet to speak about anything they need to.
The app is called Cordico and allows first responders to stay anonymous, and it is available to their spouses.
Charles Blumenauer, Manager of Public Safety for the City of Midland said, “Using a really good anonymous resource, because I’ve always said, fireman and policeman both go see things and do things that the normal public doesn’t do, and it helps to have some kind of outlet when you finally need to have that outlet. This software will allow them to have that outlet.”
