TERRELL COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - According to a press release, FEMA is opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Terrell County on June 25 to help residents in Terrell County who were affected by the severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that happened earlier this year. The center will close permanently at 7 p.m. on July 3. The center is at the Terrell County Courthouse, 105 E. Hackberry St Sanderson TX 79848.

All centers operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day. To find the center location nearest you go to fema.gov/drc. All centers are accessible to people with disabilities or access and functional needs and are equipped with assistive technology. For those affected by the storms, the U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, private nonprofit organizations, and businesses of any size.
