Teen arrested for stabbing in Alpine

ALPINE, Texas (KOSA) - A 16-year-old boy awaits juvenile proceedings after he allegedly stabbed another man on Sunday, June 16.
According to the Alpine Police Department, officers were called to the Big Bend Regional Hospital where a 21-year-old man was getting treatment for several stab wounds.
Officers spoke with the victim and found out the location of the stabbing, 2000 block of Peach Tree Circle. Officers also identified the 16-year-old suspect.
The victim was airlifted to an El Paso Hospital for further treatment and is expected to be released.
Alpine Police report the 16-year-old is awaiting juvenile proceedings.
