BIG SPRING, Texas (KOSA) - According to the Big Spring Police Department, six people conspired to steal $500,000 from a Big Spring non-profit.

On June 20, 2023, BSPD was told about missing funds from the Isaiah-58 non-profit organization.

Police Chief, Chad Williams, says that an ex-board member told the police about the situation, saying he had received several phone calls from debt collectors.

An investigation showed that six people had been conspiring for three years, between January 2020 and June 2023.

Those six are:

  • Nancy-Stinson Loveless 51 years of age
  • Clifford Raymond Stinson 54 years of age
  • Kelsie Marie Armistead 29 years of age
  • Caleb James Loveless 30 years of age
  • John Riley Loveless 33 years of age
  • Nicholas Loveless 24 years of age

Police believe that each of the above-listed persons conspired to deprive Isaiah-58 of over $500,000.00 in funds.

As of May 30th, 4:36 p.m., none of the six have been taken into custody, arrested, and charged.

However, the case was brought to the 118th District Court Grand Jury who then indicted each of the above-listed individuals for the Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity a Felony 1 offense.
