Man arrested in New Mexico for sexual assault of a child in Midland

MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Midland County Sheriff’s office have arrested Kyle Junker, 23, for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
MCSO reports deputies responded to Midland Memorial Hospital in reference to the sexual assault of a child on May 23. Through the investigation a warrant for Junker was issued.
With the help of MCSO Narcotics Division, Texas DPS CID, Texas Rangers and New Mexico State Police Division 3, Junker was found and arrested near Roswell, New Mexico.
Junker was booked into the Chaves County Detention Center and awaits extradition back to Midland.
