ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - The Odessa Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a shooting from Memorial Day that involved two rival biker gangs.

OPD says, 36-year-old Victor Gomez exited his vehicle in the 3000 block of Andrews Highway.

He approached 41-year-old Gilbert Corrales in the middle of the roadway. OPD believes that Gomez then used a baseball bat to hit Corrales on his motorcycle.

Corrales followed Gomez to the passenger side. He then fired a single round into the truck, shooting Gomez in the torso.

Both parties fled the scene.
