Eagles set for Region 1 Championship against Stephenville

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Canyon Eagles baseball team are the only team in the Texas Panhandle still alive this postseason.

The Eagles have made it back to the Regional Finals for the first time since 2003.

Canyon will take on Stephenville in a best-of-three series with a ticket to the UIL state tournament in Round Rock on the line.

Game one of the series will be Thursday, May 30 at 7 p.m.

Game two of the series will be Friday, May 31 at 2 p.m.

If needed, a game three will be 30 minutes following game two on Friday.

All games will be played at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park at Texas Tech University.
