Canyon, Pampa ready for next round of high school softball & baseball playoffs

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - We have two teams in the area that are still playing in the high school baseball and softball postseason.

For baseball, the Canyon Eagles are headed into the regional semifinal round after a regional quarterfinal victory over district foe, West Plains.

The Canyon Eagles will take on Springtown for the regional semifinals. The two teams have decided on a one game playoff. The gam will take place on Thursday, May 23 at 6 p.m. at Frenship High School.

For softball, the Pampa Lady Harvesters are headed into the regional final round for the second time in program history after a regional semifinal victory over Burkurnett.

The Pampa Lady Harvesters will go against the Sanger Lady Indians in the regional finals. They will play a best-of-three series. Game one will be on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Game two will be on Thursday at 1 p.m. If necessary, a game three will be on Friday at 7 p.m. All games will be played at Midwestern State University.
