MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - UPDATE: Midland County Sheriff’s deputies believe the driver of the truck pictured below is a person of interest in a homicide from over the weekend.

The Midland County Sheriff’s Office and the Midland Crime stoppers needs your help in solving a Homicide.
On May 12th, 2024, between the hours of 9am -11am, Midland County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the 10400 block of W I-20 in reference to a medical call. Upon arrival, a deceased male subject who suffered a gunshot wound was located laying on the ground outside his 18 wheeler. Through further investigation video footage of a dark-colored Dodge single-cab dually pickup truck possibly blue in color, was seen in the area at the time of the incident. Midland County Investigators are asking for your assistance in identifying the driver of the truck to be questioned as a person of interest. Midland County Sheriff’s Office suspects foul play after deputies found a body on Sunday morning (May 12).

MCSO reports, deputies were dispatched to the 10,000 block of South FM 1788 in Midland County for an unknown medical call. When they got there found a man dead, who appeared to have a gunshot wound.

An autopsy has been requested, and because foul play is suspected, deputies are investigating the case as a Homicide.
