Suspect dead after officer-involved shooting in Midland
Officers responded to a ‘disturbance with weapons’ call

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - According to the City of Midland, the Midland Police Department responded tonight to a “disturbance with weapons” call in the 3000 block of Roosevelt Avenue in southwest Midland. When they arrived to the scene, a suspect was armed with a gun.
The suspect was shot, and later died at the hospital.
Two officers were involved, and this investigation will now be taken over by the Texas Rangers. The officers have been placed under administrative leave until the investigation concludes.
